Extreme Productivity

There’s a difference between Being Busy and Being  Productive. Anyone can be busy, but it takes strategy and planning to be Productive.

To be productive, one must derive their own plans or learn from the trails and errors of others. Many businessmen and women come with strategies of their own that had worked out for them in the past. Some of them include:

1. Essentialism is important. When you apply an essentialist framework to tasks, you’ll quickly find that the anxiety surrounding its perceived complexity melts away. I’m implies to analyze the task, identify its essence, and develop a plan to address it accordingly. Applying an essentialist framework, helps you get to the heart of the issue and ultimately deliver a better and more efficient solution.
2. You’ll still run into challenges that can halt your productivity in its tracks. We all encounter such obstacles in our lives, but they don’t have limit you. In fact, such obstacles can actually make you more productive. We can accommodate and adapt. The mind adapts and converts to its purposes the obstacle to our acting. The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way.
3. You’re capable of more than you realize. The secret to extreme productivity is to cultivate the proper mindset.
4. Know Your Comparative Advantage. Be aware of what you’re good at and where your strengths, and in turn weaknesses lie. If you’re one job and the advice you receive is for another work entirely, you cannot apply to yourself. Know how you compare.
5. It’s Not the Time You Spend but the Results You Produce. All the amount of timely effort is worth it, if there’s something coming out of it, however big or small.
6. Think First, Read or Write Second. Many people feel overwhelmed by the huge volume of reading and writing they have to do for their business. They don’t realize that the key to faster and more effective reading and writing is more-rigorous thinking in advance.
7. Prepare Your Plan, but Be Ready to Change It. Flexibility is important.
8. Let Others Own Their Space It is important to be flexible not only in your own plans but also when listening to the people working with you.
9. Keep Things Short and Simple. On a daily basis, try to keep the material aspects of life as simple as possible in order to maximize productivity.
