How to stay positive about failures in life

There isn’t anyone on this planet who can truthfully say they haven’t failed at something at some point in their life. Failing is a natural part of the growing, maturing and development process of the human race.  We fail because we are growing, we are exploring and we want solutions to life’s problems. We were meant to be curious, and curiosity will eventually lead us to success, but failure is a part of it all.

When we feel disappointed, it's important to not dwell in the poor results, but rather to use problem-solving and re-routing of our paths to determine a new way to approach the predicament and find greater success.

Some things that we can do in the face of failure are:

1. Define what failure means to you but form let your failures define you.

2. Don’t stay in denial, accept the failure for what it is because acceptance leads to you moving on to the next step and not just staying stuck in one place. 

3. Don’t keep on berating yourself because of your past mistakes. Forgive yourself, learn from them and move on.

4. Don’t pent up your frustration, let it out as often as you can.

5. Know that any kidnap of progress requires, time and patience and understanding. So give those to yourself. 

6. Let criticism become your stepping stones and not your roadblocks.

7. Have an open and flexible perspective to things so that you don’t become stagnant and stiff in the factory of change. Change in important for improvements and successes in life 

8. Have a personal positive and motivational mantra for yourself that helps you get your head straight and pull you out of any emotional breakdowns.
