Morning saw that a Driver was selling vegetables in his expensive taxi trunk.
Asked him how much is this car?
He told of Rs 12,00000 [ Rs Twelve Lakhs].
I asked how much business is done by selling these vegetables?
He said, the installment just goes out somehow.
And how much did they earn from this taxis earlier?
Approximately Rs 80,000 [eighty thousand] months.
When I emphasized a little mind, I came to know that he is not alone ... thus changing his employment.
A nearby laundry is selling vegetables and a beauty parlor.
Crores of crores of people have gone,
The news came that the government did not have the money to pay the pension of railway employees.
Thousands of Air India employees have been sent on leave for five years without pay.
Salary of teachers is not available.
There are no new jobs.
Thousands of private factories, shops, factories closed.
Small jobs like tea-drinking-cigarette shops closed.
Households working bikes stopped coming.
The economy is on the verge of collapse.
The capitalists who took money from banks are not ready to give back.
Small co-operative banks closed without any prior notice.
Thousands of depositors lose money but no hearing.
Are we going through a slow recession?
Or are the governments making some efforts to rectify these conditions ..?

But the information we get from the media is just

और पहले कितना कमा लेते थे इस टेक्सी से ?
लगभग Rs 80,000 [ अस्सी हजार ] महीना।
थोड़ा दिमाग पर ज़ोर डाला तो ध्यान आया कि ये अकेला नहीं है..इस प्रकार से अपने रोजगार को बदलने वाला ।
पास की लॉन्ड्री वाला भी सब्जियां बेच रहा है और ब्यूटीपार्लर वाली भी।
करोडों लोगों की नोकरियाँ जा चुकी हैं ,
खबर आई थी कि रेलवे कर्मचारियों की पेंशन देने के पैसे नहीं बचे सरकार के पास ।
एयर इंडिया के हज़ारों कमर्चारियों को बिना वेतन पांच साल की छुट्टी पर भेज दिया गया है ।
अध्यापकों की सेलरी नहीं मिल रही ।
नई नौकरियाँ नहीं हैं ।
हज़ारों प्राइवेट कारखाने ,दुकानें ,फैक्ट्रियां बन्द ।
छोटे-मोटे काम जैसे चाय-पान-सिगरेट की दुकानें बन्द ।
घरों में काम करने वाली बाइयों का आना बंद ।
अर्थव्यवस्था टूटने की कगार पर।
बैंकों से जिन पूंजीपतियों ने पैसा ले लिया वो वापस देने को तैयार नहीं।
छोटे - मोटे कॉपरेटिव बैंक बिना किसी प्रकार की पूर्व - सूचना के बन्द।
हज़ारों जमाकर्ताओं का पैसा डूब जाता है पर कहीं कोई सुनवाई नहीं।
क्या हम धीरे -धीरे मंदी के दौर में जा रहें हैं ?
या फिर इन हालातों को सुधारने के लिए सरकारें कुछ प्रयास कर रहीं हैं..?
जिनकी जानकारी जनता को नहीं..।
पर मीडिया से जो जानकारी मिलती है वो तो सिर्फ
पाकितान ,चीन ,
राम मंदिर ,धारा 370 ,तीन तलाक ,
राष्ट्रीय नागरिक रजिस्टर अभी कुछ समय पहले तक कोरोना के मरीजों की लगातार बढ़ती संख्या,लॉकडाउन 1-2- 3 ,अनलॉक 1- 2-3
और विश्वगुरु हम ।
पर सवाल ये कि क्या हम आने वाले भयावह आर्थिक संकट को देख पा रहें हैं ?
अगर हाँ ,तो क्या उपाय कर रहें हैं हम उसके लिए ?
या फिर सब मज़ा में छे
सब चंगा सी मान लें.
माफ कीजिये मैं बड़े -बड़े आँकड़ों को नहीं जानता
बस जीवन जानता हूँ अपने आस -पास का
और
वो फिलहाल सही दिशा में जाता नहीं लग रहा
ना कोरोना की दिशा में ना आर्थिक दिशा में..
