MOTIVATION IN CORPORATE CULTURE

Corporate culture represents the success and the failure of any company. So it’s managers moral duty is to take care of the working environment and their employees. Motivating the employees always benefits the company.

Once John Mackey, CEO of whole foods market said: “If you are lucky enough to be someone’s employer, then you have a moral obligation to make sure people do look forward to coming to work in the morning.” He has been managing this company with great success. One of the reasons for their success is his employees.

There was a company named Sitalata. This company was managed by 75 years old man. This man believed in his work culture and the employees, because of his belief he achieved great success. He has been managing this company for 50 years. As he was old, he gave his company to his son to manage it. His son was also intellectual but he was cruel to his employees. So within 2 years, the company saw small losses which were not seen when the old man was there.

So it depends upon the bosses or managing directors, on how they create the motivational environment.

THINGS TO DO TO KEEP YOUR EMPLOYEES MOTIVATED:

Create a positive and friendly environment.
Weekly meetings to know your employees in a better way.
Provide a safe working environment.
Keep project competitions so that employees will be more curious to work on that project.

So the culture is important in every company and the motivation is needed to keep going. As this is about motivation, one of the steve jobs inspirational quote about employees “It does not make sense to hire smart people and tell them what to do; we hire smart people so they can tell us what to do.”
