तमिलनाडु में सीबीआई की हिरासत से 102 किलो सोना गायब हो गया है। जिसके बाद मद्रास उच्च न्यायालय ने शुक्रवार को तमिलनाडु पुलिस को इसकी जांच करने के आदेश दिये हैं। इस सोने की कीमत करीब 43 करोड़ रुपये है। हाई कोर्ट के फैसले के बाद सीबीआई को शर्मिंदा होना पड़ा है। एजेंसी का कहना है कि यदि स्थानीय पुलिस द्वारा जांच की जाती है तो सीबीआई की प्रतिष्ठा नीचे आ जाएगी...!

कोर्ट ने सीबीआई की स्थानीय पुलिस द्वारा जांच ना कराये जाने की याचिका को खारिज कर दिया है और सीबी-सीआईडी ​​को एफ़आईआर दर्ज करने के लिए कहा है। कोर्ट ने कहा “यह सीबीआई के लिए अग्नि परीक्षा हो सकती है, लेकिन इसका कुछ नहीं किया जा सकता। अगर सीता की तरह उनके हाथ साफ हैं, तो वे बच जाएंगे और यदि नहीं, तो उन्हें इसका खामियाजा भुगतना पड़ेगा।”

सीबीआई के विशेष लोक अभियोजक ने राज्य पुलिस के बजाय सीबीआई या राष्ट्रीय जांच एजेंसी से जांच कराने की बात कही है। इस पर न्यायाधीश पी एन प्रकाश ने कहा कि अदालत ऐसा नहीं कर सकती, क्योंकि कानून इस तरह के आक्षेप को मंजूरी नहीं देता है। जज ने कहा कि सभी पुलिसकर्मियों पर भरोसा किया जाना चाहिए और यह कहना कि सीबीआई अलग है और स्थानीय पुलिस को उसकी जांच नहीं करनी चाहिए गलत है...!
